Arizona police were so perplexed by Cameron Payne’s insistence on providing them with a false name during his arrest earlier this year that they referred to the NBA player and his actions as “dumb,” according to new police footage obtained by TMZ Sports.
The arrest occurred at Payne’s home in Scottsdale around 2:30 AM on June 14, after officers responded to reports of a verbal altercation involving the 30-year-old New York Knicks guard and his girlfriend.
