The Regular Season in LEB Gold just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Burgos SP smashed Cantabria at home 86-67. Cantabria will play next round against Menorca trying to get back on the winning streak. Burgos SP will try to continue on its current victory against Fuenlabrada in Madrid.

Valladolid will play against Zamora on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Alicante will play against Cartagena to get more than just one victory in their record.
An interesting game where Palencia beat host Burgos T. 91-85 on Friday evening. Juan Pablo Vaulet stepped up and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. At the losing side Lance Jones responded with 31 points and 4 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Palencia will meet at home Gipuzkoa in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Burgos T. will play against Real Betis in Sevilla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 1 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
winless Zamora lost to undefeated Menorca in Mahon 69-76. Castello smashed Oviedo at home 90-68. Real Betis won against Gipuzkoa on the opponent’s court 77-62. Estudiantes managed to outperform Obradoiro in a home game 82-69. Winless Cartagena lost to undefeated Ourense on the road 73-101. Winless Moron lost to undefeated Fuenlabrada on its own court 61-79.

Alicante – Valladolid 64-73

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Alicante at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Valladolid 73-64.
