Ratiopharm Ulm (BBL) re-signed 25-year old 213cm center Nicolas Bretzel for the upcoming season. He has played there for the last four seasons. The team played in three different competitions that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 24 BBL games, he averaged 4.9ppg and 2.7rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the cup final. Bretzel also played 15 games in Eurocup where he recorded 3.7ppg and 1.6rpg.
He has played for BBU 01 Ulm before.
Bretzel won the German Bundesliga championship title in 2023. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro B Honorable Mention in 2019.
