The Heat didn’t have too much breathing room in their game with the Atlanta Hawks this past Friday, but they still walked away with a 124-118 win. It was another big night for Miami’s small forward Jimmy Butler, who posted a double-double on 23 points and ten assists.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia didn’t have too much trouble with the Boston Celtics at home this past Friday as they won 111-99. The Sixers’ center Joel Embiid did his thing and dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds in addition to six dimes.
Miami is the favorite in this one, with an expected 4-point margin of victory. They are currently five-for-five against the spread in their most recent games, a trend bettors might want to take into account.
Their wins bumped Miami to 27-15 and the 76ers to 24-17. We’ll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when the Heat and the Sixers clash.
