Brooklyn Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn thought Nic Claxton’s activity set the tone during last night’s 124-104 home win vs. the Orlando Magic (8 points/6 rebounds/2 blocks/1 steal/3-5 FG/2-2 FT/+20 +/-).
(via Brooklyn Nets):
“That combination, he and Spencer [Dinwiddie]. Spencer’s getting downhill while he is getting to the rim. So, that’s a lethal combination to guard. And then, Nic covers up sins for us on the defensive end of the floor, let’s just be honest. His ability to come over and deter shots, be a shot blocker, even in foul trouble you still see him back there. We were able to mix up our defenses because of him and be the aggressors tonight because of him.”
