The Boston Celtics have secured the services of guard Payton Pritchard for the foreseeable future. NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that Pritchard has agreed to a lucrative four-year contract extension worth $30 million.
Pritchard, originally selected as the No. 26 pick by the Celtics in the 2020 NBA Draft, has spent three seasons with the team.
The 25-year-old guard contributed an average of 5.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 13.4 minutes per game last season.
