Power forward Kristjan Kitsing (205-PF-1990) had a great game in the last round for Kalev/Cramo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 32-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, five rebounds) to his team’s victory, helping them to crush BK Ogre (#7, 11-9) with 22-point margin 100-78. Kalev/Cramo is placed at 4th position in LAT-EST BL. They are still close to the very top. Kalev/Cramo would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 12-3 record. In the team’s last game Kitsing had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It’s his second year at Kalev/Cramo and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Kristjan Kitsing averages this season 10.6ppg.

The second best player in last round’s games was young Croatian Matej Radunic (211-C-1996) of Keila. Radunic had a very good evening with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Keila lost that game 71-85 to the higher-ranked Rapla (#6, 12-8). Keila is still in a red zone at 12th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 6-12 record. Radunic is a newcomer at Keila, but is already one of team’s top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.2ppg (#2). He also registered 7.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Czech Republic center Ondrej Balvin (217-C-1992) of league’s top team Prometey. Balvin scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was a key player of Prometey, leading his team to a 104-75 easy win against the lower-ranked Valmiera Glass (#14, 3-15). Many experts and fans count Prometey as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 18 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Balvin has a great season in LAT-EST BL. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 8.6rpg (6th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
