The Toronto Raptors were offered multiple picks at the 2023 trade deadline for OG Anunoby, but they elected to retain him.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that “the upside of many of the first round picks offered is believed to have been low.”
The Memphis Grizzlies and Indiana Pacers were two of the teams who aggressively pursued Anunoby at the deadline with each offering three first round picks.
Anunoby can become a free agent in 2024 if he declines his $19.9 million player option.
