LeBron dropped 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds in their win. It appeared that he was making somewhat of a statement performance in light of Dillon Brooks’ recent comments on the 38-year-old.
But, when asked about whether or not he made a statement, LeBron simply responded, saying he “[doesn’t] need to make statements”. Likely referring to his illustrious 20 season career.
After the game, LeBron was asked if his performance was a response to Brooks’ recent comments about him, and he responded with: “I think my resume and what I’ve done for this league speak for myself so I don’t really get caught up in any comments like that.” His sole focus was on leading his team to a win.
There is a possibility that Brooks may face suspension for Game 4 in LA.
20-season NBA veteran LeBron has been delivering impressive stats in the first three games of the series, with an average of 24.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 1.3 steals.
Fans are eagerly anticipating another exceptional performance from him on Monday, given his consistent efficiency on the court.
