Game notes: The Pistons nipped the Spurs on Friday in double overtime, 138-131, and now are tied for the third-worst record in the NBA. Rookie Jalen Duren collected 30 points, 17 rebounds, three assists and four blocks in 42 minutes for the Pistons. James Wiseman won’t suit up for this game, as the NBA awaits the decision from Golden State on whether to void the entire four-team trade due to a failed physical by Gary Payton II. … The Raptors had won three straight until losing at home to Utah, 122-116, on Friday. Toronto did not trade any of its starters, and instead acquired veteran center Jakob Poeltl, who it originally dealt to San Antonio in the Kawhi Leonard-DeMar DeRozan trade in 2018. Toronto is 11th in the Eastern Conference, one spot out of the play-in tournament, and one of the league’s most disappointing teams this season. All-Star forward Pascal Siakam averages 25.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.1 assists, and last year’s Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes adds 15.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists, despite struggling with his efficiency this season. … The Raptors defeated the Pistons, 115-111, in Detroit in November, and meet again Feb. 25 in Detroit and March 24 in Toronto. The Pistons have swept the Raptors in three of the four previous seasons under coach Dwane Casey (9-4 overall). … The Pistons next play Wednesday at Boston.
