Defending champion Zenit-Saint-Petersburg (VTB United League) tabbed experienced 34-year old French ex-international 202cm power forward Adrien Moerman. Moerman played recently at AS Monaco Basket in French Betclic ELITE ProA, but left the team in Jan.’23. In 12 games he averaged 6.3ppg and 4.1rpg this season. He also played 16 games in Euroleague where he had just 2.9ppg and 2.8rpg.
Moerman was a member of French international program for some years. He was called to French Senior National Team between 2009 and 2019 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2008.
Moerman has played also professionally in Spain (Barca and Bilbao), Turkey (Efes, Dacka and Bandirma) and France (Chorale de Roanne, Sluc Nancy, JSF Nanterre and Entente Orleans 45). He won Euroleague championship title in 2021 and 2022 and made it to the cup final in 2009 and 2010. Moerman was voted to Eurobasket.com French ProA All-Domestic Players Team back in 2014 and 2015.
