BC-Allschwil strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old point guard Branislav Kostic (180cm-1994). Kostic already started the season at Swiss Central in the SBL. SBL was a little too high level for him, where in three games he recorded just 1.7ppg, 2.3apg and 1.0spg. NL1 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He represented Switzerland at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B in Sarajevo (Bosnia) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 8.6ppg, 3.9rpg, 3.3apg, FGP: 32.1%, 3PT: 27.0%, FT: 80.0%.
Kostic has played previously for six other teams: Fribourg, Starwings, Boncourt, Academie Fribourg, Starwings Basket Regio Basel U23 and BC Alte Kanti Aarau. He was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-Swiss SBL Honorable Mention in 2018 and 2022.
Kostic played in the final of Swiss SBL in 2021.
