Draymond Green has apologized to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday morning for his altercation with Jordan Poole.
The Warriors are still in the process of disciplining Green, but he is not expected to miss any games.
“These things happen. Nobody likes it, we don’t condone it, but it happens,” Bob Myers said. “Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room. … As far as any suspension, punishment, fine, we will handle that internally.”
Green threw a punch at Poole at practice Wednesday.
The altercation began when the two started trash-talking and verbally sparring during practice.
Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry echoed this sentiment.
“There was a report that Jordan had an attitude in camp, and that could not be further from the truth,” Kerr said. “He’s been fantastic.”
Curry added: “[Poole] has been great, and there was nothing that warranted the situation yesterday. I want to make that clear.”
