Matisse Thybulle was listed as ineligible to play in Thursday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena.
NBA players who aren’t fully vaccinated against COVID-19 now have to be listed as ineligible when held out of playing games in Toronto. The rule change in Toronto took effect on January 15th, after the Philadelphia 76ers played at the Raptors in the preseason and on December 28th.
Thybulle was placed in the league’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols twice this season.
A source has confirmed that Thybulle is unvaccinated.
The 76ers could play the Raptors in the first round if the teams finish with the fourth and fifth seed respectively.
