The Chicago Bulls COVID outbreak got even worse on Sunday afternoon. Zach LaVine and Troy Brown Jr. joined seven teammates in the NBA’s health and safety protocols after testing positive for COVID.
Like their teammates, if LaVine or Brown can’t return two negative tests 24-hours apart, they’ll be out for a minimum of 10 days.
The Bulls are currently down DeMar DeRozan, Ayo Dosunmu, Javonte Green, Stanley Johnson, Derrick Jones Jr., Matt Thomas and Coby White, in addition to LaVine and Brown. Patrick Williams is also out long-term for Chicago, due to a wrist injury.
In a bit of good news, Coby White seems to nearing a return for the Bulls. He returned to the team facility and has begun ramping up his activity for a return to play.
