Bulls guard Zach LaVine has responded to the trade rumors swirling around him this offseason, expressing that he isn’t giving much credence to the speculation.
LaVine understands that trade rumors are an inherent part of the business and acknowledges that his name has been tossed around before. Having been traded from the Timberwolves to the Bulls in the past, he recognizes the nature of the industry.
However, until he hears otherwise from the front office, LaVine remains fully committed to being a Chicago Bull. He values his connection with the city, where he has earned two All-Star selections and a lucrative contract extension.
“I don’t see anything happening anytime soon. But if it does, Chicago always has my love,” the 28-year-old shooting guard said, via Ryan Taylor @ NBC Sports Chicago.
Last season, LaVine posted impressive numbers, averaging 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. With his performance and the love he has received from the city, LaVine doesn’t foresee any imminent changes to his situation.
