Memphis Grizzlies general manger and president of basketball operations Zach Kleiman was non-committal about Dillon Brooks’ future with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Brooks will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Brooks said on Sunday that he doesn’t regret his trash talking of LeBron James, including calling James “old” after Game 2.
“No, that’s who I am. I don’t regret it. I’m a competitor. I compete,” said Brooks.
Kleiman admitted that the Grizzlies were a victim of “self-created distractions” during their round 1 loss to the Lakers.
“I think there were certainly self-created distractions we were navigating in this series. As we’re looking forward and thinking about what comes next, those are all things that we’re going to keep in mind from a competitive standpoint.”
