Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kyle Anderson underwent a successful eye surgery this Wednesday, per Darren Wolfson of SKOR North. Wolfson received the news in a conversation with team governor Glen Taylor.
A health update and timetable of recovery remains nonexistent from the side of Minnesota with regards to this condition of the veteran.
Anderson notably sustained a left eye contusion after taking an accidental hit from teammate Anthony Edwards during Game 4 of their first-round series against the Denver Nuggets. He was then ruled out to return, and classified as unavailable on the Wolves’ eventual Game 5 playoff elimination loss.
Anderson, 29, averaged 9.4 points, 5.3 boards, 4.9 assists in 50.9 percent shooting in his first year as a Wolf this 2022-23 season.
