The Washington Wizards, amid a rebuild initiated last offseason, are actively looking to continue the process as the trade deadline approaches.
According to Brian Windhorst on ESPN’s Hoop Collective, the Wizards’ front office has received a mandate from ownership to prioritize acquiring first-round picks in trades.
The team has reportedly made Tyus Jones, Kyle Kuzma, Daniel Gafford, and Jordan Poole available for trade. While Jones is on an expiring deal, Kuzma, Gafford, and Poole have multiple years remaining on their contracts.
