Utah Jazz head coach Will Hardy talked about Lauri Markkanen’s development after last night’s 126-103 home win vs. the Los Angeles Clippers (34 points/12 rebounds/1 assist/1 steal/2 blocks/11-20 FG/6-8 3-PT/6-6 FT).

“I thought it was another game where Lauri seemed to kinda do a little bit of everything, made threes, got to the basket with force early in the game. He’s just continuing to grow before our eyes every night in terms of understanding there’s a lot of different ways to be effective on the offensive end in this league, especially when you have his combination of size, skill, and athleticism. Again, Lauri’s always gonna be the first to say this, but his teammates did a good job of finding him when he was open. There’s not a ton of plays where Lauri’s isolating and creating things by himself, it takes all of his teammates understanding what we’re trying to execute and finding him with good timing for him to score the way he does. So it’s a credit to him, and it’s also a credit to his teammates.”
