For a while, Klay Thompson went from chilling in his ongoing Anta China tour to rediscovering his old, playful and competitive form.
And this can just be shaded upon a recent viral video wherein he walked across a massive Thanos figure – noting that he’d like to match the amount of Marvel antagonist’s infinity stones.
Thompson indeed can’t wait to start a new campaign with the Golden State Warriors and fulfill this mission of his as their title defense came up short from last season after the Los Angeles Lakers eliminated them to the second round of the playoffs.
Now at age 33, the star swingman already received an overwhelming collective success with the Warriors, as he, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green bannered the franchise’ dynasty which saw them earning four championships in the span of eight years.
As he and the Dubs do remain in prime to contend still, Thompson’s window to win his fifth coveted ring remains open. Yet, the road won’t be truly easy given that several of other title heavyweights like the Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics and the reigning champions in Denver Nuggets are standing as daunting roadblocks to surpass.
But they do have ample reasons to feel confident about their chances. Upon acquiring former nemesis Chris Paul, the brilliant mind and command of the future Hall of Famer just further adds dynamism towards their game plan as they approach the next 2023-24 season.
Thompson may just to have chill for now and restore his tank with the upcoming season set to offer them promising beginnings as they eye to restore their dynastic status once again.
