The Golden State Warriors lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in double overtime on Saturday night. After the game, both Warriors coach Stever Kerr and star guard Stephen Curry thought officiating played a hand in the loss.
“I might comment on the free throws, but my mom is here, so I want to be on my best behavior. So, I’m not going to comment on their 43 free throws to our 16. I’m not going to comment on Steph shooting three free throws in 43 minutes,” Kerr said.
Curry echoed his coach’s comments when asked about the free throw disparity. Curry called out the inconsistencies in the calls the Lakers were getting, as opposed to the ones the Warriors got.
