The Golden State Warriors have made the decision to release two of their signed players from earlier this offseason, namely Rudy Gay and Rodney McGruder, ahead of the new NBA season.
According to a tweet by Shams Charania, the Warriors’ action has reduced their roster to 13 players, thereby creating space for additional adjustments and strategic maneuvers within the team.
Anthony Slater’s tweet further emphasized the team’s intention to bring the roster back to the standard number by adding a 14th player within the initial two weeks of the upcoming season, with both Gay and McGruder being strong contenders for the vacant spot.
