The NBA’s choice to indefinitely suspend Draymond Green was made in collaboration with the Golden State Warriors and Green’s representatives.
Mike Dunleavy Jr. stated, “We acknowledge there’s a consequence, but this is also about providing support to someone.” He confirmed that both the Warriors and Draymond fully agreed with this approach.
While under suspension, Draymond will stay connected with the Warriors. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, there are ongoing discussions about a counseling program.
The open-ended suspension grants Green the necessary time to address the personal challenges he is confronting.
