Police were well aware of who they were arrested when they handcuffed Rajon Rondo earlier this year, as shown by body cam footage obtained by TMZ Sports. Officers mentioned his NBA career after pulling him over.
The incident occurred on January 28 in Jackson County, Indiana, after authorities claimed Rondo’s black Tesla lacked a properly secured rear license plate.
In the video, after getting Rondo’s details, officers returned to their car and briefly discussed the former Celtics player’s basketball career.
