Victor Wembanyama’s Summer League debut for the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night averaged 1.39 million viewers on ESPN.
The number trails Zion Williamson’s 2019 Summer League debut, which averaged 1.61 million viewers.
Wembanyama’s debut averaged almost one million more viewers than last year’s most-watched Summer League game between the Magic and Kings.
The debut also averaged more viewers than the Spurs’ matchup against the Warriors on ESPN at the Alamo Dome last season.
