UConn, Houston, Purdue, and North Carolina received the No. 1 seeds in the 2024 NCAA men’s tournament.
UConn secured the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament.
“It’s tough no matter where you are. There’s so much depth in college basketball these days. This time of year comes down to who plays the best to their identity,” said UConn coach Dan Hurley.
The Cougars and Boilermakers were also the No. 1 seeds in last year’s tournament.
North Carolina were the fourth No. 1 seed in the bracket.
