BIG TEN BRACKET WATCH: Michigan basketball has work to do to get off bubble
Game notes: Michigan State dominated Indiana last time out, 76-61, behind Malik Hall (18 points), Tyson Walker (15 points) ad AJ Hoggard (14 points). The team’s 15 turnovers were still too many but the somewhat easy victory was a nice reprieve from a two-game losing streak.
Penn State arrives on a three-game skid, falling in a trio of single-digit conference contests. Minnesota handed Penn State a 76-70 defeat over the weekend. Sam Sessoms’ 18 points led the Nittany Lions. He scored 12 in PSU’s loss to MSU in December. Seth Lundy, the team’s leading scorer, had 18 in these teams’ first meeting.
MSU is off until the weekend, when it plays Illinois at 12 p.m. Saturday. Penn State plays Minnesota on Thursday.
