Trevor Ariza is expected to make his season debut with the Lakers on Sunday night, in the road game vs the Chicago Bulls.
Ariza was out since the start of the season, due to a right ankle surgery. However, Lakers assistant coach David Fizdale revealed the veteran forward will be in the lineup vs the Bulls.
With the 17-time NBA champions having several players in the Health and Safety protocols, Trevor Ariza is a valuable addition to the lineup. It is unclear how many minutes he will play.
For their part, the Chicago Bulls return to action after one week. The NBA postponed Chicago’s last two games, as the Bulls had several players in the protocols. Star guard/forward DeMar DeRozan returns to the lineup tonight.
