New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau always knew that Miles McBride would eventually become an efficient three-point shooter (career-high 45.6% 3-PT).
(via New York Knicks):
“The one thing is, he’s a gym rat. We track all his shots, and we saw last year and the year before that he’s very accurate in practice. And so, it didn’t really translate last year in the games, but he really never got extended minutes. But we felt because of the accuracy of the shots in practice that eventually it would translate, and it has. He’s a very confident shooter, and he’s a little bit of everything. His defense is elite, he’s got extremely long arms, and he disrupts people. And then offensively, he plays with speed. He can play on the ball, he can play off the ball, and I like that versatility for us.”
