The Oklahoma City Thunder are hiring assistant coach Chip Engelland to join Mark Daigneault’s staff. Engelland has been an assistant with the San Antonio Spurs for the last 17 years.
Engelland is considering the best shooting coach in the NBA. Players such as Kawhi Leonard, Tony Parker, Danny Green and others have credited Engelland with helping them improve their shots.
The Thunder have one of the NBA’s youngest rosters. They also have a handful of players who could use development with their shots. They now have one of the best coaches in the NBA to aid in that development.
