There is still a possibility that Russell Westbrook will be traded by the Lakers before the start of the season. Some expect Los Angeles to increase their efforts in looking for potential trade partners as training camp gets closer.
At this point two teams are thought to be the most likely destinations for the for former NBA MVP. The first one is the Pacers as the Lakers are interested in Buddy Hield and Myles Turner and would like to include Russ in the trade.
Another option is the Jazz. In this case the most likely scenario where Westbrook would go to Utah is a three-team trade centered around Donovan Mitchell who would go to the Knicks.

Jovan Buha: As far as Westbrook’s trade market, I’ve heard Indiana and Utah are the two most likely destinations. I think Utah is, from what I’ve been told, more likely than Indiana. There are several permutations there with Indiana where it could be Myles Turner and Buddy Hield together or one of the two.
