The Oregon Ducks men’s basketball schedule for the 2024-25 season is out

Oregon coach Dana Altman brings his team together before their game against Michigan last December at Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks open the 2024-25 season Nov. 4 at home versus UC Riverside.

It’s time to bring on the Big Ten for the Oregon men’s basketball team.

The Ducks’ 31-game 2024-25 season schedule was announced Thursday and it was hard not to notice the litany of new teams Oregon will be facing once nonconference play ends in late December.

The Ducks, who won the Pac-12 Tournament last season and played into the second round of the NCAA Tournament, open the season with four straight games at Matthew Knight Arena, beginning Nov. 4 against UC Riverside.

Oregon’s first road game of the season will be Nov. 21 against Oregon State in Corvallis.

The Ducks will be in Las Vegas during the week of Thanksgiving as part of the Players Era Festival to face Texas A&M, San Diego State and Creighton, which ended Oregon’s season last March.

Conference play begins against former Pac-12 foes and first-year Big Ten teams Southern California (Dec. 4) on the road and at home against UCLA (Dec. 8).

The final two months are all conference games as the Ducks finish with 18 straight games against Big Ten teams starting Jan. 2 against Illinois at home.

The Big Ten Tournament will be March 12-16 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
