Thanasis Antetokounmpo, 29, has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Milwaukee Bucks, per a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Thanasis – the older brother of 2x NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo – averaged 2.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 57 games last season with the Bucks.
But despite his limited playing time, Thanasis emerged as a fan favorite for always bringing energy to the bench.
The Bucks signed Giannis Antetokounmpo to a five-year, $228 million super-max extension in 2020, which means the two eldest Antetokounmpo brothers will be under contract together until at least 2023.
