Steph Curry becomes first player to reach 3,000 threes in NBA career

Steph Curry is going to be considered one of the best guards to ever play the game when he retires. The Warriors’ superstar became the leading NBA player in made threes a few weeks back, surpassing Ray Allen.

In the game against Denver,  on his way to scoring 23 points while knocking down five 3-pointers, Curry became the first-ever NBA player to reach the 3,000 3-pointers made mark.

He has also knocked down a three-pointer in 157 consecutive games, tying his own NBA record. The Warriors’ superstar will have the chance to expand his record against Denver on Dec.30.

He’s averaging 27.7 points, 5.9 assists, and 5.3 rebounds per game, leading Golden State to a league-best 27-7 record. Curry is among the leading candidates to win the regular season MVP, his third in his illustrious career.
