The Mavericks suffered a blowout loss against the already-eliminated Wizards in Washington. It was a game where former teammates met. The two teams traded players earlier this season, most notably Kristaps Porzingis and Spencer Dinwiddie.
The latter made comments about the issues in Washington’s locker room after joining the Mavs. He was asked about those comments after the game and has doubled down on what he said before in response.
“I said what I said about the organization. I know that they’ve since made comments about their own locker room that kind of validated what I’ve said about the situation. … Let them go to the offseason and let us go to the playoffs,” Diwniddie said, per Hoop District.
