The Philadelphia 76ers have interest in keeping James Harden on their roster next season. Harden is seeking a trade after it became clear the Sixers weren’t interested in a long-term contract and he opted into his $35.6 million contract.
“I think there’s two rails with this James Harden situation,” said Adrian Wojnarowski. “You have a Sixers organization that would still love to keep him in Philadelphia for the season. If there’s a way, as the summer goes on, to try to convince them they can still make this work together. That he has a chance to compete for a championship.
“At the same time, they are talking to teams. The Clippers remain a team very interested.”
