NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has mocked Rudy Gobert on several occasions in the past. Recently he was teased by Spice Adams on The Big Podcast who said that he thought the Jazz center would hold Shaq to 12 points. O’Neal once again responded by taking a shot at the three-time Defensive Play of the Year.
“12 points? Yeah, in the first three minutes,” the four-time NBA champion reacted, per R.P. Salao of ClutchPoints. “Let me tell you something, man. It’s against my religion for somebody to hold me one-on-one. I take that personally. I do.”
“You know what I’m going to do to him? He’s a shot blocker. You can’t shoot a shot. You’ve got to back his little skinny a** up under the rim. Show him the ‘bow so he gets scared and just go up.”
