Reebok named Shaquille O’Neal the President of Basketball in a newly created position. O’Neal was the first signature athlete in the brand’s history.
“We just want to do things differently. That’s what we were best known for back then and what we want to stay true to now,” said O’Neal.
Allen Iverson was also named the Vice President of Basketball.
O’Neal will have a role in player recruitment and business development, with Iverson to focus on the brand’s grassroots and community initiatives.
Reebok was bought by Authentic Brands Group in March 2022 for $2.46 billion.
