A civil lawsuit alleging sexual assault and battery against former NBA star Dwight Howard has been dismissed with prejudice in Georgia’s Gwinnett County Court.
The plaintiff, Stephen Harper, dropped all claims, which cannot be refiled. Howard’s attorney confirmed no money was paid in exchange for the dismissal.
The case stemmed from a 2021 encounter where Harper accused Howard of sexual assault. Howard denied the allegations, stating the encounter was consensual.
Despite earlier efforts to have the case dismissed without trial, no charges were ever filed.
