Scottie Barnes has agreed to a five-year maximum rookie extension with the Toronto Raptors. The deal, potentially worth up to $270 million, will make Barnes the highest-paid player in Raptors history.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Barnes intends to sign the extension on July 6th. Barnes’ agent, Bill Duffy, met with Toronto executives Masai Ujiri and Bobby Webster to finalize the deal.
