Russell Westbrook often looked uncomfortable this season doing what has been basic skills for the rest of his career.
In November he missed four of the seven dunks he attempted. Westbrook missed two dunks on Christmas Day against the Brooklyn Nets.
Thereafter, Westbrook essentially stopped dunking altogether. Westbrook dunked twice in January and was just 1-for-3 in February.
People on the Lakers and around the NBA began to wonder if Westbrook might have an issue with his hands or eyes.
Sources close to Westbrook insist he had his hands checked by a specialist.
