Robert Williams III won’t suit up for the Boston Celtics’ Game 3 battle against the Miami Heat on Saturday.
The Cs recently announced that the big man will be out due to left knee soreness. It has also been the main reason for Williams’ absence in Games 4-6 of their West Semis saga against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Despite this, Ime Udoka can still fill the huge hole in their frontcourt by activating Daniel Theis to the starting lineup. Grant Williams is also expected to step up to give Boston the upperhand in this series.
Both the Heat and Celtics are knotted at 1-1, and the upcoming Game 3 will serve as a crucial swing in having the composure throughout the series.
