Pacers’ center Myles Turner has been mentioned in trade rumors for a while. His absence from Wednesday’s game against the Knicks caused speculations on Twitter that he is on his way to another team.
According to the Pacers’ head coach Rick Carlisle, that is not the case. It’s the back spasms that kept turner out of the game.
“He’s not been traded, as I guess Twitter is saying. Believe me, I have no interest in trading Myles Turner,” Carlisle jokingly said, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
This season Turner is averaging 17 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 29.8 minutes per game.
