Ricky Rubio has not played a single NBA game since December 28, 2021. The 32-year-old point guard tore his left ACL during a game against the Pelicans.
Since then he got traded to the Pacers, but has never played for his new team and was again signed by the Cavaliers on a three-year deal this past July.
Though Rubio is nearing his return, which was expected to take place in December, the team is reportedly not rushing him back, per Chris Fedor of Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Last season the Spaniard averaged 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 28.5 minutes over 34 games for Cleveland.
