Texas Tech’s Pop Isaacs, a starting guard on the men’s basketball team, is facing allegations of sexually assaulting a minor during the Red Raiders’ November trip to the Bahamas, as reported by multiple sources.
The civil lawsuit has been filed in Lubbock County District Court, with the accusation stemming from an incident involving a 17-year-old girl.
Despite the legal age of consent in the Bahamas being 16, the lawsuit, filed by the girl’s parents, asserts that she was incapacitated due to intoxication, rendering her unable to provide consent.
The complaint alleges that Isaacs intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly engaged in unconsented physical, offensive, and sexual contact during the incident, as detailed by The Athletic.
