New York Knicks veteran Taj Gibson says that he’s bringing a Kurt Thomas type feel to the group.

“I’m blessed to be a part of a situation like this because I know the whole coaching staff. The whole coaching staff raised me since I was a young pup, and now I’m the Kurt Thomas of the team. I remember that when I was a young guy, and it’s being a part of this. The coaching staff understands that, they know how to push me, they know what they can rely on with me. And the thing about it, we’re always… there’s so much positivity in this room right now, and just going to keep pushing.”
