The Detroit Pistons have waived Eugene Omoruyi. Omoruyi was on a non-guaranteed contract for the upcoming season.
The Pistons had to waive Omoruyi as part of the process to create the cap necessary to acquire Joe Harris and Monte Morris in trades. Detroit is acquiring Harris from the Brooklyn Nets and Morris from the Washington Wizards.
