The Detroit Pistons and Dallas Mavericks discussed a potential trade for Bojan Bogdanovic last week, sources told Tim Cato of The Athletic.
The trade centered around a framework of Bogdanovic and Killian Hayes going to the Mavs, with the Mavs sending back Tim Hardaway Jr. and JaVale McGee.
The trade discussions were an attempt by the Mavs to expand the three-team deal with the Celtics and Spurs involving Grant Williams.
Tim MacMahon of ESPN added earlier this week that the Mavs could revisit a Bogdanovic deal in the future.
