The New Orleans Pelicans are set to re-sign Alize Johnson to a 10-day contract via the hardship exception. Johnson was previously with the Pelicans on a standard 10-day.
New Orleans is currently down several players due to injuries. In addition, C.J. McCollum was placed in the health and safety protocols this week.
Johnson appeared in three games during his first stint with New Orleans. He averaged three points and four rebounds in eight minutes per game.
Because this second 10-day deal is via the hardship exception, the Pelicans will be able to sign Johnson to a third 10-day deal.
